What is the Panelist Referral Program?

Grow your panel by enabling your existing members to get rewarded for referring new, engaged members who complete surveys. This proven, cost-effective way of growing your panel will increase completion rates and drive revenue and profitability. 
 

How can I set up a referral program for my panel?

Referral programs are turned off by default, but setting up a referral program for your panel is simple. In Cint Engage, choose your panel’s settings and click ‘Referral Program’ on the left-hand-side menu. Set the reward amount that each panelist will earn for every survey their referee completes and the maximum amount they can earn through the referral program. Click ‘Save changes’ to launch your referral program.  

Are there any policies in place to ensure the health of the referral program?

Yes, the referrer earns a fixed amount for each survey the new user completes. For example, a referrer might earn $0.10 for every completed survey. Referral rewards will follow the pending incentives logic, i.e., referral rewards will only be credited to panelists for completed incentives (incentives that did not get reversed during the waiting period). 

To ensure the program is fair and sustainable, you will be able to set a cap on the total amount a referrer can earn from a single person they refer. For instance, the maximum earning might be $10, which could be reached after the referred user completes 100 surveys.
 

Can I amend the referral program settings? 

The referral program is built with flexibility in mind. The amount earned per completed survey and the total earning cap can be adjusted at any time to fit around your panel management strategy. 

Can I track my referral program?

Yes, referrals will appear in the Panel Analytics report. You can access this report by navigating to Recruitment Insights within the Analytics tab.

Can I switch the referral program on or off at any time? 

Yes, you can turn the referral program on or off for any panel at any time. Turning off the referral program will only prevent new panelists from signing up, and existing panelists will still be eligible to earn rewards until they reach their referral reward cap. 

What will my panelists see in the Panelist Hub?

Once a panelist logs into the Panelist Hub, they will be able to:

• Access their unique, personalized referral link that they can easily share with anyone via email, social media, or direct messaging.
• Track their progress and earnings via a personal dashboard, which provides full transparency on how many people they have referred and how much they have earned.
